a few snaps from the first night back in dc

two weeks off, etc.

MGA is really slow right now, so I have the next two weeks off. Seems fun, but maybe not so much when you've just had two vacation weekends and spent all of your savings like i did.

I have an interview with another department within the company on tuesday and another some other time in the week. we shall see.

in the mean time i believe i'll be heading to montana next week, instead of taking the time off to do it in august. it makes more sense, trust me.

I know, I know. I've been seriously slacking...
but no news is good news, right?

so here's some updates:
I. kelly and billy came to visit last weekend, we went to the star wars convention, shopped, and had a generally ridiculous time. I'm supposed to go see her this week for her b-day, but unfortunately I got slammed at work, so Im trying to go the following week. It will be nice to go back to dc, but frankly i'm a little nervous about it. I'm in a whole new place, whole new life, it's always weird to go back to the old one. I've grown comfortable going back to Montana, it definatly took a while, but now I feel hesitant about going back to DC. as long as the right friends are there and the right enemies aren't, we'll be cool.

II. I've started doing the body for life challenge and it's freakin hard! 6 days a week, alternating cardio with cardio weight training. I'm hoping it will give me the killer California beach body I need to feel a bit more comfortable this summer, AND keep me healthier, happier and more energetic! I've done one whole round so far, cardio, lower body, cardio, upper body, cardio, and I feel really good. tomorrow i do lower body again, my fave! Anne's doing it as well, in New York, so we're comparing notes and motivating each other. It's nice to have a work out buddy, even if she's on the other side of the country!

III. other wise, life is generally awesome. Snake's and awesome roommate and my friends here are amazing. I some times can't believe how much is always going on here. Pirate pool parties, waterslide parties, beach cruises, tons of events at bars every night, and that was just this weekend! I seriously love it here. it's ridiculous.

i need to buy a camera, so i can start succesfully documenting my california adventures.

also, i'm gonna try and go to montana for my birthday. take off a week, drive from here to slc, stay with my friend dawn for a night, drive to missoula, hang for a few days and drive back. it would be nice to get back again, i haven't been since july. i'm about due. maybe anne will fly in?? *nudge nudge
